All of these pics were "shot from the pocket" and remind me of classic pictures taken with a disposable 35mm film camera. I wanted to enjoy the event and casually take photos along the way that would remind of us of the moments that we'd normally forget. One vendor even commented, "hey- she just took a picture of our trash! Haha, imagine that!", which is exactly what I was going for. Seeing the vendors, artwork and people in Detroit is a big part of the fun of these events. Aside from that, YES, the flowers were beautiful and the weather was perfectly sunny and 70 degrees. We ate corn dogs and drank beer at the Eastern Market Brewing Company.
